自述：
生活于我而言是一種追溯，一種對于飄渺的偷索。
我喜歡獨處，常一個人呆到天亮，體驗黑夜帶來的漫長、孤寂、恐懼、反抗，我的繪畫是非常個人的東西，是對生活的承載、對情緒的宣泄、于內心的對峙。

王劉健的創作皆因由生活給予的表達慾望，這其中隱藏著他個人在某一時間段的認知和體悟。他在畫面上消解了具體的形象，把繪畫性的痕跡感和低灰度的色塊（形象）強調，如此，解構帶來了新的視覺體驗，迴避了個人的表像，把個體的情感和認知昇華並可以與你我對接和溝通。
“藝術家真正的模特是觀念：它包含人類所有的戲劇性，而不是關于某個特殊個體的表象。”
王劉健及其作品無疑是在旁證和踐行馬克·羅斯科此觀點。

The work of Wang Liujian are drawn from the dire for expression of life. Which hides his personal cognition and understanding in a certain period of time. He deconstructs the specific image on the screen, the painting of the trace and low gray color (image) stressed that so,deconstruction brings new visual experience, to avoid personal appearance of individual cognition and emotion sublimation and can with you my butt and communication.
“The true model of an artist is the idea that it contains all the drama of man, not the representation of a particular individual.”
Wang Liujian and his works are certainly in the circumstantial evidence and practice of Mark Rothko.
