BIOGRAPHY
Shadi Noyani was born in 1974 on Rasht city in Iran. In 1993 she goes to Guilan
University in the field of mathematics and at the same time she starts drawing.
In 1996 she leaves University and in 1998 she comes to Tehran and she starts to
study graphic design and she follows her studies in painting and drawing
seriously. Her first exhibition was held in 2000.
After all in 2003 she starts her to study M.A in illustration in Art University
till 2005. She is teaching Art in University of Applied Science and technology
in Tehran from 2004 till now.
In her figurative paintings, with an expressive tone and focusing on
psychological and social issues, she has sometimes tries to have a looks from
his inner visions.
She has already had 4 solo exhibitions and more than 25 group exhibitions.
In addition of painting she uses other mediums such as video, installation and
performance to create her pieces.
In her video art, she sometimes uses some old 8mm home-made videos by people
and family and generation of 70s and 80s in Iran. She selected as painter and
participant of the 6th International Festival of Contemporary Art Penza 2013 in
Russia.
